Planning
Congratulations on your engagement! The next big step becomes planning your wedding day. You may be wondering… what is the advantage to having an event coordinator? Hopefully the following FAQ will help answer this and other questions that are undoubtedly racing through your head right now:
What is the advantage to having an Event Coordinator? Oh so many advantages! Let’s start with the big three – time, cost, and peace of mind:
Time – At Missing Piece Events, we realize that time is valuable. Especially when planning your wedding. Once you set your date, you are immediately up against a deadline. Whether you give yourself six months, a year, or more, there are actions that need to take place and things to accomplish to ensure your day is as perfect as it can be. Our goal as your event coordinator is to help you organize everything that is required for your wedding day so you can spend more time focusing on the important decisions, and less time doing the footwork. We leverage our relationship with the top vendors in Vermont to match you with the best options to complete your vision.
Cost – You have a budget, now let us help you stick to it! We work with vendors to help get you what you want at a cost that works for you. Our overall knowledge of wedding budgets, standard cost allocations, and the Vermont wedding landscape will help keep you on target with your spending while still allowing for the dream wedding you always wanted. We work closely with all vendors to ensure you get the best possible rates with an honest approach to what is possible in each individual circumstance.
Peace of Mind – The last thing you want to be worrying about during your wedding planning is if you are making the right decisions in regards to vendors, design, location, etc. With an experienced wedding coordinator, you can relax and take comfort in the fact that if we are recommending a service; we stand behind its quality. We recognize that planning a wedding has the potential to become overwhelming and our job is to help alleviate that stress and make the entire process, from beginning to end, as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Leave the worrying to us.
What is the difference between an Event Coordinator and a Site Coordinator? We often run into this question when a couple has already decided on their reception site. Many of the Inns and Resorts in Vermont have on-site coordinators whose job is to handle the site details of the event. The difference between a Site Coordinator and an Event Coordinator is the Site Coordinator is the expert for the location they work for. They will assist with all the details for the location, usually everything from menu planning, to seating, to timing of the day’s events. As an Event Coordinator, Site Coordinators are wonderful to work with. While we work on all of the details of the event, we will rely on the Site Coordinator to coordinate the overall details of the day at the site itself.
Do you only plan weddings? Absolutely not. We will plan any event. Corporate functions, anniversary parties, birthday bashes. Contact us if you are interested in learning more about any of our Event Planning offerings.
You say you do event design. What does that mean? At Missing Piece Events, we strongly believe that all events should have a unique vision carried through from start to finish. Something that pulls together the event from the minute the invitations go out to the door, until the final day arrives. Based on this principle, we work with you to design a look and feel that ties together the entire Event. It can be something as simple as color, or something as elaborate as an entire Event theme. We want your creativity and vision to take front and center when it comes to every detail, making the event truly memorable for everyone involved.
Do you plan events outside of Vermont? We plan anywhere! If you are interested in having us work for you outside of Vermont, contact us to discuss options. We will go wherever we are needed.
